Top Ten Romance Flicks

Every now and again, nothing sounds better than snuggling up at home with a blazing fire and a romantic movie. Given the fact that today marks the first day of one of my favorite months and holidays—I can't help it, I'm a hopeless romantic with a raging sweet tooth—I thought I would spill my top ten go-to movies that never fail in making my heart skip a beat. Don't hold back, tell me which ones are on your list!

1. Pride & Prejudice
2. The Notebook
3. The Duchess
4. Crazy, Stupid Love
5. Far and Away
6. Pretty Woman
7. Breakfast at Tiffany's
8. Romeo & Juliet (1996)
9. Out of Africa
10. The Holiday

Oh I'm a sucker for romantic movies... some of my faves are Pretty Woman, Reality Bites, The Notebook, Love Story, and An Affair to Remember which stars Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr. And most Audrey Hepburn movies of course.

Pride and Prejudice is my absolute favorite movie of all time. There is nothing more romantic than Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy! I also love The Notebook and A Walk to Remember (one of my favorites from HS).

Romeo and Juliet (with Leo and Claire) will always remain one of my all time favorite romance movies as well...nothing better than good chemistry on screen! I'm a sucker for Titanic too, I guess I just have a thing for Leo :) Who doesn't!?

I know I have a lot more, but for some reason I can't think of them right now :)

Fun post! The Notebook definitely makes my cut but I would HAVE to throw in Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sallly and You've Got Mail. What can I say???? I'm a Nora Ephron/Nancy Meyer nerd!

I love this list! And I have to say, I'd add "Like Crazy"...so realistically romantic (and a little sad). Love it!

Oh my goodness I love every single one of those movies. But I have to say, The Way We Were definitely needs a place on that list. You just can't go wrong with Barbara Streisand and Robert Redford.
