NYFW Day One

The best part about staying at a hotel, room service.

New York Fashion Week has officially kicked off and while I've been fighting the foreign cold weather (stormy and snowy today!) it's been worth every frigid second. I had the chance to go backstage at some shows this time around so I can't wait to share some behind-the-scenes moments with hair and beauty experts. Also to come, a one-on-one interview with Prabal Gurung on his new collection with Target and some favorite pieces I picked up.
Taking notes on this ginger's look—neutral and sculpted.
Hair by Aveda backstage at Kimberly Ovitz
Squiggly 1920's inspired hair at Kimberly Ovitz.
M.A.C. makeup used on models for the Kimberly Ovitz show.
A sparkly low back and pleated skirt at Candela—a new line I've fallen in love with.
A visit to the Jennifer Fisher Jewelry showroom with my pal Alicia. We got a sneak peek at her new collection and let me tell you, it's good.
Some favorite Jennifer Fisher necklaces hanging.

It looks like you're having the best time at FW! I've been watching the live streaming on the shows and it's been amazing, I can only imagine what it's like actually being there! Have fun!

I'm so jealous! Great photos. Loving Candela but that model looks so thin, it always makes worry when I see girls like that. Enjoy all of the fashion fun!

I have never ordered room service at a hotel before, it`s on my bucket list! And I love to see a pretty back so these low cut dresses by Candela are right up my alley!
