Bits and Tips

{ Newly planted lettuce plants that look adorable in our backyard. }

There's nothing quite like an 80º day in the middle of January—only in California. The past week was a nice break (and tease) from the normally chilly days so we took advantage of it and swung open the doors, did a little gardening and soaked in some vitamin D. Sadly I think our mini heat wave is coming to an end but something tells me Spring will be here sooner than later. A quick side note for those in the Santa Barbara area, Benefit Cosmetics is hosting a party at their new store location 925 State Street tomorrow 1/24 from 7 - 9 pm. You don't have to twist my arm for bubbly and a mini-makeover! I hope to see you there!
{ A Joie tee that I've been living in. }
{ A new bar towel from Anthropology. }
{ Sweet little flowers we planted in tall white pots in our backyard. }
{ A salvaged light fixture I plan on placing a tea light in for outdoor dinners. }

I love those huge white pots. I'm also dreaming of 80oC days right now. The uk is under a blanket of snow!

As much as I truly love winter, I have to admit that I'm a bit jealous of your January summer!

Happy Wednesday :)
