It doesn't matter how old you are, wearing wellies and splashing through puddles is just plain fun. Over the rainy weekend I practically lived in mine with casual, cozy favorites and thanked my lucky California stars for the winter-like weather which begged for fun layers. Aside from some extra lazy mornings—coffee in bed is just too good on a stormy day—and meeting up with friends for lunch on the pier, we managed to pick up our (slightly crooked) Christmas tree. Let the holiday decorating begin!
