Bathroom Vanity

One area of my home that can easily take a turn for messy town is the bathroom. It's usually where I'm pulling out products, rushing around at the last minute and leaving my jewelry at the end of the day. So in an effort to tidy up, I made a few changes (and additions) that have in turn made me enjoy keeping my bathroom vanity an organized and stylish area.
One huge help to keeping the area organized was buying this tray from West Elm and having my make up brushes, perfumes and jewelry on display.
A square woven basket holds daily essentials for me and my guy.
One thing that definitely adds charm and makes the area special, bright flowers.
Last but not least, a new rug. I went with a striped rug I found at Upstairs at Pierre Lafond

Love this. I've been searching for a catch-all tray like that one along with little trinket dishes to keep jewelry. Great finds!

Such great ideas. If I had more counter space, I would want to display items I use frequently like this! Unfortunately, my space is so small, I usually tuck them away in boring storage containers underneath the sink...

I also published a post on easily and inexpensively updating the bathroom. It's great how a few small changes can make a big difference. And I always have flowers in my bathroom - great pop of color.
