Wedding Inspiration

A rustic table set with gold tipped plates and glasses.

It's funny, the second you get engaged the flood of questions start pouring in—when's the date? Where are you having it? Where's the honeymoon? What are your colors? How many bridesmaids? Veil or no veil? When the beau fiance and I got engaged over a month ago I was a little overwhelmed at all the decisions and questions I faced. So instead of rushing to make plans, we took our time and just enjoyed being a newly engaged couple. As we ease into the planning process I've found pinterest to be extra handy when putting together our vision. Here are some elements we're currently loving, see more on my "Wedding Bells" board here.
I haven't made any final dress decisions but I love the fullness of this dress.
 White garden roses.
 Rustic signs.
 Long and narrow ceremony seating.
Mason jars with candles hung from trees.

Gorgeous wedding inspiration. Definitely a good idea to take your time with all the details – it's such a fun (but exhausting) process, so it's good to soak up one thing at a time. Enjoy it!

I just got married…an intimate celebration at our house in the woods. If you haven't checked out Bleubird Vintage's wedding bits or BHLDN in New York, you really should. I found them both so helpful and inspiring!

Very hip and chic: http://bleubirdvintage.typepad.com/blog/wedding/

I got my dress at BHLDN:

Congratulations on your engagement Samantha. I too got engaged during the summer and am getting inspirations/ideas for my wedding next summer. I am planning a rustic/romantic style wedding to go with the location we have picked. Am looking forward to more posts on your wedding planning. Nicole
