Crochet the Day

Rachel Zoe dress, Aldo Pumps, Emily Rosendahl Sam Clutch, Jennifer Fisher Collar Necklace and Bone Cuff, Vintage bracelets and belt from Ava + Aliria.

Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era. And while there are a handful of time periods I wouldn't mind flashing back to, the 70's always remains at the top of my list. Everything about it—the music, clothes, cars, parties and art—I love and am constantly influenced by. So it's no surprise I fell in love with this Rachel Zoe crocheted dress, which totally reminds me of something Bianca Jagger or Farrah Fawcett wore back in the day.
I've been on the hunt for white shoes (à la Celine Resort 12) and finally found a pair at Aldo that I liked. I'm also crushing on this pair in nude.

Love those heels, definitely a staple piece. I need a pair of pointed heels! That dress and bag is also beautiful <3

Those shoes are just lovely! I like the pointed toe, it's subtle and not too pointy. I find myself to be picky about that part of shoes. I love the dress too!

I was a kid at the time but I remember the dresses and the bikinis. Farrah was my idol.

This look suits you very well.

It's beautiful but I think it's much too short. That said, you do have gorgeous legs.

Love the shoes.

How did you deal with the undergarments [for lack of a better term] issue of crochet? I am completely in love with both lace and crochet but find they end up sitting in my closet because I can never figure out what to wear underneath.
