One thing I love about designer brands are the incredibly beautiful and thoughtful packaging their products come in. I'm notorious for saving shoe boxes, jewelry pouches, shopping bags and garment bags that are too pretty to throw away. I held on to this Lanvin shoe bag that came with a pair of flats because I loved the patch and black ribbon ties. Turns out shoe bags make the perfect jumbo lavender sachet too. I bought this loose lavender and went to work filling a few different ones that now live in my bedroom and the living room. Sidenote: I'm thinking this might be an easy fun Valentine's gift for my girlfriends too.

I'm the same way...love holding on to pretty jewelry pouches, boxes, dust bags and shopping bags. You never know how you can re-purpose.
I am such a sucker for pretty packaging. In a corner of my room I have arranged some paper bags that are just too pretty to throw away. I also go for packaging when I look through the aisles at my local Douglas (like Sephora). I hate to have things like perfumes that smell really good but have an awful packaging (in my opinion). And I love finding new uses for the pretty boxes, bags, dustbags, etc. This lavender sachet seems just pretty perfect and amazing!
