Normally I stray from purple all together. I've always felt that it wasn't my color and it reminds me of that creepy singing dinosaur. But after spotting Georgia Jagger in a rich purple silk top with bright coral lips, I had a complete change of heart. For months I kept my eyes peeled for the perfect piece in that same royal shade but nothing seemed to say "Georgia" and felt more like "Barney", until I found this sweater at a thrift store. Hiding on the "under $10" rack, my vibrant purple craving was fulfilled. Turns out it is a color I can wear and love to wear with black, denim, gold and bits of coral.
Rich purple + yellow gold accents gives a royal vibe.

For some reason I've always felt the same about purple and I honestly don't own a single purple item. Definitely need to keep my eyes peeled for a purple sweater like this one. I love the coral lips and those wide leg A+O pants are so amazing.
I would have never thought to pair purple and coral together, but they look beautiful side by side! Thank you for the inspiration :)

This sweater is such a steal - the shade of purple is perfect, and goes so well with the coral lip + gold accents. So sad that it's vintage!
