Home DIY: Color Pop

Any sort of home design I get into always seems to mimic my wardrobe. So, naturally, after my recent neon kick (seen here and here) I started craving a little brightness at home. Enter hot pink spray paint. I found this old iron saddle stool recently and decided to spice it up, giving it a modern feel. After sanding and a few coats, it found a home on the flokati rug in our living room—a solution to seat shortage when a handful of friends come over.
[ I used Gold brand spray paint in Gleaming Pink ]
[ A few coats achieved the solid matte pink color I wanted ]
[ My favorite part, the saddle shaped seat ]
[ A pop of color for the living room ]

Very cute idea, wouldn't have thought of it. :) Huge fan of monochromatic color schemes but, this could be interesting.

That is amazing. I saw a hot pink chair in a hotel the other day and loved it. Definitely have to do this myself.

I've always enjoyed painting old pieces of furniture but adding a bright pop of color is news to me! Next thrifted furniture I get - I'm painting it BRIGHT. :) Or maybe I'll grab one of my old bar stools that I normally cover up with a scarf and paint it pink or some kind of cool design.
