During my recent playcation in New York, I stayed with my friend LP in her incredibly cute Soho apartment. I've been living vicariously through her adventures in the big apple since she moved last spring from Newport Beach, so we hit all her favorite restaurants, shops and cafes. I've always admired her flawless style, knack for accessorizing and finding the best pieces. From wearing a maxi skirt as a dress, to layering bracelets and rings she always manages to look effortlessly cool. Naturally we did some shopping together, but most of all we laughed... a lot. Here's a look at one of her daytime outfits when we did a lot of walking, eating and shopping.

love the stripes. i'm a newport beach girl myself and have fantasies of transplanting myself to nyc too. it's not in the cards for me but loved seeing these pics!
Effortlessly chic! She looks great. It's really important to dress comfortable (while maintaining the cute factor) while living in NYC because riding the subway to work during rush hour = pushed/squished/brushed against/yuck.
