I had a weekend full of sunshine, bocce ball, friends, burgers and late afternoons at the beach. We finally got some summer heat here in Santa Barbara so we stayed outside as long as we could to soak it in and even took the Jeep out for a spin to the beach. I mastered (slight exaggeration) smashball, swam in the ocean, finished my book, played a little bocce ball and got some much needed vitamin D. Meanwhile, Hilary Duff was getting hitched at a private estate in Montecito, so the town was buzzing with helicopters and celebs like Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz.

I still haven't read the 3rd one!! I'm waiting till it comes out in paperback. I read the first 2 back to back because I just couldn't put them down. Your vacation pictures always make me so jealous!!
