Some friends and I took a day trip up to Ojai—just 40 min from Santa Barbara—for some good food, shopping and much needed girl time. We wondered around the hippy-style community that's filled with art galleries, boutiques, coffee shops (where everyone knows each other) and an amazing farmer's market. I snagged some homemade garlic salt and tangerines before we filled up on flat bread pizza and salad at a nearby Italian spot that every local we know had recommended called Monte Grappa. Chai latte's, stylish bohemians and friendly folk were themes for the day, but nothing beat our drive home when we stopped to admire the grand view of Lake Casitas.
